Senior Manager - Accountancy Practice

We are recruiting a Senior Manager for a well-established and growing accountancy practice. This is a senior role with responsibility for managing a significant client portfolio, leading a team, and contributing to the ongoing growth of the firm. There is a clear progression route to Director level within 2-3 years for the right individual.

The Role

• Manage and oversee a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring a high standard of service
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team across accounts, audit, and advisory work
• Act as a key point of contact for clients and maintain strong working relationships
• Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships and support new business
• Work closely with senior leadership on strategic and operational initiatives
• Contribute to improving processes, efficiency, and overall practice performance

The Person

• ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong post-qualification experience within an accountancy practice
• Proven experience managing client portfolios and leading teams
• Commercially minded with an interest in business development
• Confident communicator with good leadership and relationship-building skills
• Ambitious and motivated to progress to Director level
