Senior HR Business Partner | City of London | Up to £110,000

Are you a commercially focused Senior HR Business Partner with recent experience in a legal, professional services, or LLP environment? I'm partnering with a prestigious global firm to recruit a strategic HR leader who can operate at pace and influence across a complex stakeholder landscape.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing HR function within a respected, city-based organisation where your voice and impact will matter.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven HR Business Partnering experience within the legal sector, financial services, or an LLP model-within the last five years (essential).

  • Track record of supporting headcount populations of 300+, delivering both strategic and operational HR solutions.

  • Strong capability in employee relations, performance and talent management, and organisational change within a fast-paced, matrixed business.

  • Demonstrated commercial acumen, with experience using people data to inform strategic decisions-such as linking talent and performance strategies to revenue goals, pipeline pressures, or practice area priorities.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at senior level and influence across a partnership-style structure.

The Role:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, shaping and delivering people strategies that drive business outcomes.

  • Lead complex employee relations cases and change programmes with risk awareness and commercial sensitivity.

  • Use people metrics and data insights to influence decision-making, highlight risks and opportunities, and measure the impact of HR interventions.

  • Partner with the business to design and implement talent and retention strategies aligned to growth objectives and evolving workforce needs.

  • Foster a high-performance culture, collaborating with internal HR functions to improve engagement, inclusion, and leadership development.

This role sits at the intersection of people strategy and business performance. It's an excellent opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of a globally respected firm, particularly suited to someone who thrives in an LLP or partnership-based model where influencing without formal authority is key.

If you bring both the commercial lens and people expertise to drive change in a complex professional services setting, I'd love to connect with you.
