Senior HR Officer
Ashley Kate are delighted to be working with a leading Manufacturing organisation who are looking to appoint a Senior HR Officer/HR Advisor.
This is a brand new role that has been created to support the HR Manager and assist with the development of the other junior HR members.
This is full time, permanent role which is fully on-site, based in Banbury. The salary is circa £40k.
Main duties -
·Management of recruitment campaigns, interviewing candidates preparing contracts of employment and on boarding process.
·Manage the temporary agency contract for direct employees, including timesheets.
·Advise line management on discipline and grievance issues to ensure consistency of policy application.
·Assist in the development of Human Resources policies and procedures to ensure best practice operation.
·Conduct Exit interviews for all direct employees and MOI up to Management Team level.
·Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports relating to numbers employed, absence, turnover, health and safety, employee claims.
·The job holder should have a minimum of 3 years generalist HR experience within manufacturing environment.
·Experience of working within company procedures, an understanding of recruitment and selection methods and an appreciation of employment law is required.
·Experience of managing monthly time & attendance / payroll administration.
·The ability to apply theoretical knowledge and an understanding of working practices to situations as they arise.
·Excellent communication and influencing skills are essential along with the ability to work under pressure to tight and changing deadlines.
