Senior HR Advisor

Location: Leeds, office-based

Salary: £40,000 DOE

Contract: 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract - with potential to move to permanent

We are supporting our client in their search for a Senior HR Advisor to join their team in Leeds. This is a generalist HR role with a core focus on Employee Relations, providing operational HR support across a large workforce, and supporting the implementation of HR initiatives and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for HR queries and provide advice in line with legislation and company policies
  • Manage day-to-day HR matters including absence management, disciplinaries, performance management, and onboarding
  • Support managers with change programmes and HR projects
  • Assist the HR Manager with TUPE transfers and compliance updates
  • Drive HR initiatives including mental health, well-being, and DE&I campaigns
  • Support delivery of the HR strategy and core people initiatives

We are looking for:

  • Solid experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner, ideally within an operational background.
  • Proven experience managing Employee Relations and supporting large workforces
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Ability to work independently and provide leadership on HR matters
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • CIPD qualified or working towards
