Senior Finance Manager | Full time and Permanent | Hybrid | Office located in Farringdon| Salary DOE
 
Ashley Kate are thrilled to be working with a global construction company who are in the market searching for a Senior Finance Manager. The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for the individual financial statements of a range of international entities as either the chief accountant (small sales offices) or supporting the local accounting teams (large production entities in Germany and the UK).
 
 
Senior Finance Manager - About the role
The accounting related tasks include the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year end financial closing in adherence to statutory and group GAAP (IFRS or similar), management of the sub ledgers, filing of taxes and other reporting, as well as cash management. You will also be the main contact to financial auditors and tax authorities. To accomplish these tasks you will supported by a small remote team of accounting specialists. In addition, specific tasks (payroll, taxes) are supported by outside providers.
 
As SAP FI key user, the role will require you to drive process improvements and adherence in accounting and SAP FI across the entire group. Key projects as project owner, manager or member may include: Change of group accounting standard, roll out of SAP FI/CO, upgrade from SAP R/3 to S/4.The role will require both strong technical experience regarding accounting in general and SAP FI/CO specifically, as well as strong communication skills.
 
Senior Finance Manager - About you
·Vocational training as specialist accounting
·Work experiences in specific field 2 years or more
·SAP R/3 experience required
·Good working knowledge of Ms Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) required
·Languages: English (full fluency), German (not required, but a great addition)
·Reliable, structured and efficient
