Role Overview

The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing and delivering audits, preparing financial statements, and ensuring adherence to relevant accounting and auditing standards. The role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, provide meaningful financial insights, and maintain the firm's high standards in reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and conducting audit assignments
  • Preparing statutory financial statements
  • Analysing financial data and identifying potential risks
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards
  • Providing recommendations to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and financial controls
  • Building strong client relationships and delivering a high-quality service

Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong understanding of financial statements and core finance processes
  • Proven experience in auditing, including knowledge of relevant audit standards
  • Proficiency in accounts preparation
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
  • A recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Experience using IRIS accounts preparation software is highly desirable
