Recruitment Specialist - About the role
 
·To develop effective relationships with hiring/recruiting managers of staff/paid workforce to gain a thorough understanding of the organisation, its different components including departments, directorates, services and the different roles within them, in order to meet the different recruitment needs across the organisation.
·Utilising existing IT systems including ATS, Better Impact (Volunteers) and Cascade IRIS (HR Information System) to provide a seamless recruitment and selection service.
·Attract high calibre candidates from our local communities and beyond for a variety of different roles and responsibilities for both our paid and unpaid workforce (staff, volunteers, contractors, honorary and temporary workforce arrangements).
·Develop and maintain good working relationships with all hiring/recruiting managers of staff/paid workforce and the Volunteering team ensuring that all recruitment and onboarding processes meet required standards including pre-recruitment advice and planning.
·Be responsible for the effective onboarding of all new starters to include pre-employment/pre-engagement checks such as DBS, References, Right to Work etc., as well as timely production of offer letters, contracts of employment and ID badges.
 
 
About you
·CIPD qualifications, would be desirable.
·Experience of working in a busy HR environment.
·Experience of using a Applicant Tracking System.
·Experience of producing high quality advertisement
·Proven experience in recruitment. Public sector, clinical or NHS recruitment would be advantageous
·Thorough understanding of end to end recruitment
·A good understanding of volunteer recruitment principles.
·Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
