Ashley Kate are pleased to be to be supporting a UK based charity, based in London as they look to recruit a Full Time, Permanent Recruitment Officer. This is a great opportunity for someone with proven experience and in-depth knowledge of Recruitment. 
 
The salary for this role is up to £33k and comes with a hybrid working pattern.
 
Job purpose:
This role will identify vacancies and work closely with recruiting managers, Sourcing new candidates, onboarding new starters, HR system administration, Support with Health and Safety checks and additional general day to day admin checks.
 
·The Recruitment Officer is responsible for all day-to-day coordination of recruitment, including pre-employment checks, supporting recruiting managers and answering applicant queries.
·The Centre uses an on line application tool (iRecruit) via an HR system (CIPHR) and the post-holder will be expected to be the expert user.
·The Recruitment Officer post will be part of the HR Team, within Central Support, and the role involves liaising with the Communications, Facilities/Reception, Finance and IT teams, where necessary, in relation to the onboarding of new starters and recruitment administration.
·The post-holder will work alongside an existing Recruitment Officer in the HR Team and will support the HR Manager and Head of HR with general HR administration when necessary.
·Liaise with recruiting managers regarding the recruitment process, providing advice and support as necessary, ensuring the Centre's Recruitment and Selection and Equal Opportunity policies are followed, and the principles of open and transparent recruitment are maintained.


Looking for:
·Proven experience across the whole recruitment cycle
·Experience of on line recruitment systems, ideally including iRecruit
·Experience of working with recruiting managers to ensure all recruitment procedures are followed effectively and fairly
·Experience of supporting job applicants with questions or application issues
·Understanding of the need for confidentiality, discretion and GDPR adherence
·Knowledge and understanding of relevant employment law.
·Confident IT user, including Microsoft Office suite
·A recognised HR qualification (e.g., CIPD Level 3 or above), working towards a HR qualification or significant relevant experience.
