Ashley Kate are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager for an exciting new role with our client based in Sheffield.

This is a new permanent, full time role offering competitive salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience.

As the new Payroll Lead, you will own and deliver a slick payroll service for the 1800 service users on be the face of payroll queries for the business.

You must have strong background of in house payroll management ideally with experience of SAGE PAYROLL.

Essential Skills

·At least 2 years experience of working within a payroll administrative environment
·Good working knowledge of SAGE Payroll
·Minimum B in GCSE Maths or equivalent
·Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload
·Good oral and written communication skills
·Competent user of the Microsoft office suite
·Great organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
·Be a team player as well as being able to work on your own responsibilities.
·Supporting the preparation of the monthly payroll, ensuring that payroll is disbursed accurately within the cycle.
·Calculation and payment of termination payments
·Payment and reconciliation of bonus and overtime payments
·Processing increases, calculation of back pays and payroll deductions
·Calculating annual leave entitlement •Processing starters and leavers information
·Ensure prompt maintenance of staff records at all times including archiving and filing.
·Assisting Payroll/HR Manager with month end reconciliation
·Producing payroll reports for the Accounts Department
·Resolving all pay queries and correction of errors
·Accurately inputting data on to the SAGE payroll system
·Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail
·Answering the telephone and responding to general enquiries from internal and external sources
·Liaising with other team members and functions
·Manually calculating statutory payments
·RTI submissions
·Managing and processing pensions into different schemes
·Other reasonable ad hoc duties
