Payroll and Systems Administrator

Ashley Kate are pleased to be to be supporting a global media and marketing group as they look to recruit a full time permanent Payroll and Systems Administrator. This is a great opportunity for someone with proven experience in payroll and benefits.
The role will be hybrid working with a requirement to be in office 2 days per week.
Salary for this position is £22k - £28k, plus exceptional development opportunities.
About the role
·Audit HRIS to ensure all employee life cycle changes and necessary data are recorded in timely fashion ahead of payroll cut-off.
·Check and reconcile payroll data against HRIS and monthly updates after 1st run to ensure accuracy.
·Be a front facing contact for all employees on payroll, benefit & tax queries, dealing with sensitive matters in a prompt and professional manner.
Management Information Reporting
·Perform assigned reporting for the business as required, including data manipulation.
Benefits Administration (training can be provided for the right candidate)
·Act as the first point of contact with employees to manage questions and queries about benefits, informing employees of their benefit options.
·Maintain relationships with external benefit providers, alongside the Compensation and Benefits Manager.
·Maintain membership of all benefit platforms, ensuring these are kept up to date (e.g. PMI, gym, discount platform, etc.) on monthly basis in line with deadlines; performing regular audits to ensure data is accurate.
HRIS Key User (training will be provided)
·Conduct regular HRIS audits to ensure data is fit for purpose.
·Support employees in their initial queries, either resolving directly or working with Compensation & Benefits Manager and Global support to resolve.
·Preparation of and validation of data loads into HRIS.
·Keep abreast of changes and developments in relevant legislation.
·Ensure all data is managed and maintained in accordance with GDPR, as part of wider People Team.
·You will have proven Payroll experience, ideally with a focus on systems and data, for a minimum of 500 employees.
·Ability to prepare manual payroll calculations (for example statutory leave payment schedules).
·You will have some exposure or a keen personal interest in working within media, creative or marketing agency environment.
·You must be able to provide support to the wider HR team and business, with advanced Excel and intermediate PPT and Word skills.
·You will need to be highly organised and deadline focussed.
·You should have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
·Good command of written and spoken English.
·You should be able to work within a confidential environment.
