A fantastic opportunity for a 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕-𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝑯𝑹 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒓 to join a client in London (near Liverpool street) This is a standalone role and a brand-new HR position within the business, perfect for someone seeking a 2 or 3 days a week. Hybrid working is available however you will be building a HR function from scratch, from writing policies and procedures to embedding recruitment and L&D strategies. You will manage all areas of employee relations and engagement and also be involved in reviewing employee benefits. You will need to be a strong operator alongside having the capability to liaise with the Leadership team in a senior capacity.

The role involves supporting an independently owned organisation as they expand their HR function. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and supporting around 100 full time employees, this person will work closely with the MD through a period of transition, providing consultative HR support.

This opportunity would suit a senior HR professional with experience in standalone roles; someone with HR experience in a retail or a call centre environment is the preferred.

Salary is £65,000 full time equivalent.

Part time HR Manager - About you

  • Ideally you will have proven experience within the leisure, retail, hospitality industry or similar.
  • You must be comfortable operating in a standalone HR position and managing the full function from transactional administration through to presenting to Senior team members.
  • Strong UK Employment Law knowledge is essential.
  • You must want a part time role and be happy to be on site for some part of your working week as this is a hybrid opportunity.
