About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated finance professional with strong Hospitality Financial Management experience to join our team. You will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and driving profitability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist in developing annual business plans, budgets, forecasts, and P&L statements.
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls to manage business risks.
  • Support strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with department managers to optimise resource allocation and cost control.
  • Manage purchasing and inventory processes, including vendor negotiations and contract management.

Essential Skills & Competencies

  • Numeracy: Strong mathematical skills for problem-solving, calculations, and data presentation.
  • Computer Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Opera, PeopleSoft, and Micros preferred.
  • Reading & Writing: Ability to comprehend complex documents and communicate effectively in writing.
  • Economics & Accounting: In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, operating budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Analytical Thinking: Skilled in analysing complex data, identifying trends, and developing solutions.
  • Administration & Management: Understanding of strategic planning, resource allocation, and team coordination.
  • Purchasing & Materials Management: Knowledge of procurement processes and inventory control.
