Ashley Kate HR are partnering with a global manufacturing business who are looking to develop Learning and Development within their HR Function. They have a new role at their Chesterfield site for a L&D Manager.
Previously Learning & training has been managed by the HR function, and due to growth they are introducing this new role, making it an exciting time to join this business!
This is a fantastic opportunity for an L&D Advisor looking for the next step into this autonomous role.
They are ideally looking for someone who has had prior experience of working in a manufacturing environment as initially this role will be focused mainly on getting the production training back on track and ensuring they are compliant with health and safety training.

You will lead on all L&D activities, from coordinating Learning and Development, and analysing needs within the business, working with key senior stakeholders. You will develop L&D material and manage and maintain appropriate tracking and reporting processes to fulfill L & D management systems, including training identification, ongoing plans and communication. You will also support the development and delivery of training in operational areas.
To be successful in this role you will:
·Ideally posses a Learning & Development related qualification such as CIPD
·Be able to demonstrate hands on analysis of learning results
·Have experience of creating training material
·Have experience in delivery of training
·Demonstrate building strong working relationships with key stakeholders
·Demonstrate experience of developing and presenting material to a diverse employee base
·Work closely with the HR team to deliver a sound L&D programme
·Have experience within a blue collar environment
