New and exciting role, based in London.

We are delighted to be supporting one of our clients, based in London as they look to recruit for a full time, interim People Advisor to join their team.

This role will be for a period of 6 months.

The salary for this role is £45k per annum plus a £5k travel allowance.

Hybrid working is available - 1 day per week from home and there is expected travel to various sites around London.

People Advisor:

Responsibilities include:

  • Employee Relations Case Management - proactively advising and supporting Line Managers regarding ER employment issues such as sickness absence, performance management etc.
  • Be the first point of contact for advice and support on employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies.
  • Provide guidance and support on performance management and absence management to maintain productivity and compliance.
  • Build strong relationships with managers and employees to address concerns and promote effective resolutions.
  • Conduct investigations, disciplinary processes, and grievance hearings with professionalism and discretion in line with HR best practice.
  • Support HR initiatives and projects that enhance employee engagement and organisational effectiveness.

Experience required:

  • Relevant experience either working on ER case management or as a generalist HR Advisor role with high levels of ER exposure.
  • CIPD L5 qualified, essential.
  • A solid understanding of UK employment legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and best practices.
  • Outgoing, approachable, and proactive personality to make an immediate impact.
