Ashley Kate are pleased to be partnering with a professional services company on an Interim HR Manager role. You will be working alongside the leadership team on transformation projects and so it is key that you have a proven background in this. Managing a team of HR professionals you will be responsible for all areas of coaching as needed.

You will need to be able to start by September and this is an initial 10 month FTC.

Interim HR Manager - Main Duties of the role.
Deal with all disciplinary and grievance matters as required
Provide advice on absence disciplinaries and the process in line with policy
Provide advice on employee maternity and paternity cases
General day to day HR advice to the HR team as and when required on staff queries that come into the HR inbox
Provide performance management advice and check documents such as probation sign offs or extensions. Carry out probation dismissals with the line manager
Check any salary letters produced by the HR Team before they are issued
Provide flexible working request advice to the HR Manager
Recruitment – read, sign and check new terms and conditions
Oversee H&S and assist the HR Team as required on general guidance
Support and assist line managers on general staff day to day issues
Deal with any settlement agreements and without prejudice conversations as and when required
Update HR Team on any employment law changes and advise on policy amends needed

Requirements
You must have worked within a professional services environment
Strong UK employment law knowledge essential.
Ability to work under pressure on special projects to deadline.
CIPD level 5 and above with at least 5 years’ experience
Supervisory/management experience preferred
Broad and varied Restructuring/redundancy/TUPE previous experience is essential, working in a senior position.
