We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced HR Generalist to join this global business based in Chesterfield, with a remit for both UK and global sites.

Reporting into the senior management team you will work be expected to developed strong relationships with key stakeholders globally and to drive HR projects.

You will work in a highly autonomous capacity in very much a HR Business Partnering style in order to achieve success and credibility in this role.

The focus of this role will include the development of best practice HR programmes around key themes, including: employee engagement, learning and development, harmonisation of HR processes (globally).

You will need to be strong technically to be able to develop meaningful programmes and to enable local managers - coaching and monitoring managers to achieve suitable resolutions for such matters.

You will also have a proven track record of influencing stakeholders whether they be line managers or HR professionals. You will also be adept at translating and making informed decisions to suit local/global sites - where local employment law and custom and practice will need to be considered.

For 2021 the business will be focused on employee engagement and you will be expected to develop and deliver strategy to sustain the highly engaged workforce. You will be a competent leader of such programmes, but be willing to roll up your sleeves to drive activity.

You must be highly experienced in stakeholder management and have a strong influencing style to ensure HR maintains a high profile in this business and develops even further through your partnering skills. Travel will be limited to the UK in this role however, you will need to be flexible in relation to working hours to allow for calls with colleagues in different time zones. However, this role comes with the benefit of part-time hours, 3 days per week.


This role is suited to a professional and credible HR Manager/Business Partner who has a proactive, project led approach to driving continuous improvement.
