Ashley Kate are delighted to be supporting a leading Education provider in their search to add an experienced HR Partner to their existing HR department.
This will be a full time, permanent position, based in Tottenham. This role comes with a hybrid working pattern.
The salary for this role will be up to £45k
HR Advisor - about this role
The HR Partner works to support and undertake case management, provide training, give advice and guidance and ensure that all policies are followed in all actions taken.
Additionally, the HR Partner works closely with the Chief People Officer and the rest of the HR team to work on and implement national initiative.
·Provide on-site and remote, proactive support and undertake case management work in the allocated schools.
·Provide appropriate advice and guidance, ensuring that advice is in line with Trust policies and best practice.
·Partner with organisational leaders to gather feedback and make recommendations on HR policies to help align programs with organisational goals.
·Evaluate, recommend and implement programs supporting strategic people initiatives.
·Investigate employee complaints and grievances and recommend corrective actions.
·Establish and implement processes to properly on-board new employees.
·Maintain administrative oversight of key employment information and records including; New hires, Benefits, Payroll, Holiday tracking, Sick Leave
·Conduct exit interviews and off-boarding procedures, analysing information gathered in these processes to help develop retention strategies and reduce turnover.
·Oversee employment needs and /or programmes that support staffing, such as managing temporary employees, alternative work schedules etc.
·Provide coaching and guidance to management and employees in dealing with employment related issues and / or concerns.
Key experience -
·Willingness to work operationally whilst demonstrating the ability to think strategically.
·Ability to operate in a consultative manner.
·Ability to work autonomously.
·Ability to prioritise and organise multiple projects.
·Evidence of solid understanding of employment law.
·Excellent written and oral communication skills.
·Comprehensive experience and use of Microsoft Office.
·Broad generalist HR experience with strong influencing skills.
·Good understanding of the education sector.
·Minimum CIPD level 5 or equivalent
·Demonstration of successful management experience in:
oRecruitment, Selection and Retention
oEmployee relations
oWorking with trade unions
oPerformance management
oPolicy & Process development
oChange or Project Management
