HR Partner
Full Time
Interim - 6 to 12 Month FTC
£40,000 - £44,000 per annum
Roehampton
Hybrid working is offered in this role with opportunities to work from home 2 twice a week
 
About this role:
·Working with key line managers in devising and driving forward effective HR solutions
·Providing high quality HR advice and support, ensuring a positive staff experience is achieved
·Managing a varied caseload incorporating investigations, disciplinary, grievance, capability, employment tribunals and management of absence; advising on procedure, attending meetings and drawing up documentation as required.
·Supporting the implementation of the University's HR Strategy and its further development
·To work with managers to plan and assist with the process for staff recruitment, ensuring that managers comply with the recruitment approval process, advising on job description preparation, to ensure that the most effective sourcing method is used
·To provide high quality and consistent advice to members of staff in relation to the companies policies and procedures
·To line manage an HR Officer and/or an HR Administrator where required including day to day supervision, including oversight of quality and turnaround of payroll work, regular 1:1 meetings and annual appraisal process and take an active role in supporting the team in updating and streamlining administrative processes.
 
HR Partner - About you:
·Qualified to CIPD Level 5
·Previous experience working in a similar role
·Strong understanding of employment law
·Ability to work as part of a team
·Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
·Previous experience using HR systems
