£36,500 per annum
Hybrid working is offered in this role with opportunities to work from home 2-3 times per week
About this role:
·Supporting managers in recruiting the right person for a role using best practice selection processes, including placing adverts, screening and shortlisting candidates
·Managing the on-boarding process including the issuing of contracts and induction
·Providing full support, advice and guidance for line managers on all matters relating to employee relations, in line with legal requirements and company policies and procedures
·Providing full support, advice and guidance to line managers on all matters relating to employee performance and capability, including probation, appraisals, performance issues, disciplinary and grievance procedures and absence management.
·Undertaking a training needs analysis to create an L&D programme to meet business need and employee aspirations, as appropriate
·Liaising with the Finance department to ensure payroll is completed accurately and on time each month and that salary payments are made on time
·Administering any pay review, carrying out benchmarking exercises as appropriate
·Liaising with the companies external HR consultants for specialist advice when necessary
·Maintaining and managing the online HR database and resource, ensuring the data is accurate, building trust in the system so it is a reliable resource for all employees.
HR Officer - About you:
·Qualified to CIPD Level 3 or working towards
·Previous experience working in a similar role
·Strong understanding of employment law
·Ability to work individually
·Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
·Previous experience using HR systems
