Ashley Kate are currently working with a well-known housing organisation based in Camden, North West London in their search for an Interim HR Officer. This fixed term contract will run until Dec 2019 (approx. 10 months). This is an exciting time to join the business as they are about to enter in to a significant period of change due to a recent merger.

About you

Ability to quickly build working relationships and work alongside senior managers
Have a strong knowledge of system implementation / administrative support
Ideally iTrent systems experience
General HR admin support experience
Experience in recruitment campaign management
Low level Employee Relations case management experience including disciplinary, capability, grievance, performance management, bullying and harassment and probation issues support ER Manager where required
Proven experience of working in a customer focussed administration role and the ability to develop successful working relationships with internal and external customers
Excellent PC skills including experience of Microsoft Office, computerised databases and web-based systems

About the role

As HR Officer you will:

Be fundamental in the administrative aspects of the integration of systems and processes.
Initially support the HR Advisors with the integration of the systems (iTrent)
Provide advice and guidance to staff and managers on the full range of HR issues, taking responsibility for an area of the business acting as their first point of contact
Action and check HR, Systems, Payroll and T&D changes
Provide general administrative support to the wider HR team
Manage the pre-employment/annual/cyclical processes
Ensure compliance and quality standards are maintained
Manage and assist in recruitment campaigns including updating the recruitment management system
Undertake project/ research work and prepare reports as required
Manage short term and long term sickness and ill health capability issues, liaising closely with managers at all times
Manage low level Employee Relations cases
