Ashley Kate are pleased to be working with growing Tech company in their search for a standalone HR Manager. This role will be based 2-3 days in their Abingdon office.
 
The salary is between £50-60k.
 
This role has arisen due to significant growth and this is an exciting time to join the business.
 
My client is looking for an experienced HR professional who ideally comes from the Tech industry.
 
The main responsibilities will include -
 
·Monitoring various aspects of an employee's performance, such as attendance and sick
leave.
·Provide advice and assistance to management and employees on HR matters.
·Take responsibility for proposing and implementing improvements to the company to motivate employees.
·Managing the company's annual appraisal system and organising appraisal meetings.
·Annually review and manage the staff benefits.
·Handling HR matters in accordance with legal requirements where necessary.
·Liaise with the Leadership Team on resourcing requirements.
·Determine and execute appropriate sourcing strategies for new hires.
·Manage the new hire interview process.
·Ensure all background checks, right to work, references etc are completed.
·Support the on-boarding process in conjunction with Line Managers.
·Ensure we have the correct processes in place for staff career progression within the business.
 
To be suitable for this role you will need to have the following skills/experience -
·Experience of working within a HR management role, ideally in the TMT sector.
·Strong recruitment skills, in particular working with outsourced agencies.
·Managing the creation of videos and promotional content to motivate new hires.
·Strong listening and empathy skills.
·Good experience of using HR systems.
·CIPD qualified and/or equivalent experience.
·Some knowledge of US employment law is an advantage.
