We are recruiting for a standalone HR Manager to join our client I full time permanent basis. You will have a strong background working in a Financial or Professional services on a notice period of no longer that 2 months. Based in the London office, you will work alongside the two MDs and the Group HR Team in an exciting and varying work environment which will involve working across most key HR disciplines.

This is a highly visible and dynamic role, focusing on both strategy& operational topics, helping to drive the People agenda by gaining trust through high levels of partnership both within Lawson Conner and across the wider Group. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing team designing and delivering change; taking the lead in people related projects, and partnering with all areas of a quickly scaling organisation.

About you


  • Strong ability to build trusted relationships through a professional but personable approach with leadership and employees at all levels
  • Extensive generalist HR experience including employee relations, UK employment law, performance management, coaching, change management and learning and development
  • Proactive and able to show initiative to constantly improve the HR service to the business under minimal supervision
  • Able to direct on the delivery of a wide range of HR projects from concept to implementation with exceptional project management skills
  • Ability to use sound judgment and seek guidance with confidential issues as needed
  • Handle escalated I senior manager level employee relations matters
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • CIPD qualified - essential 
  • Experience within a professional or financial services firm - essential
