Ashley Kate HR are recruiting for a HR Generalist role based in Birmingham to join a Friendly HR team.
Based Onsite Monday - Friday, the role will pay £30-£34,000 based on experience
Reporting to the HR Manager you must be an experienced HR Advisor who has covered full Employee lifecycle from HR Administration to recruitment, coaching managers on performance management and being the first point of contact for employee relations.
HR Generalist - About the Role
- You will be involved in meetings such as Disciplinary, Grievance and flexible working
- You will be involved in updating the HRIS and must be a confident user of Excel in order to provide senior stakeholders with MI in relation to people
- Advise employee and line managers on all HR related queries and be confident in holding ER related meetings
- Support in updating and revising company policies and procedures
- You will be heavily involved in recruitment activities from pulling together and posting job adverts to sifting CV's and initial screening calls where needed. Alongside this you will work closely with managers identifying talent needs for their departments.
- On top of providing a generalist advisory service you will also be involved in transactional HR activity such as updating payroll information, trying up letters and updating contracts and other employee information.
Hr Generalist - About you
- Must have strong Microsoft Excel experience particularly with Marcos, Formulas and Data
- Previous experience working as a HR generalist or advisor role
- Have experience with the full employee lifecycle for recruitment and selection
- You must be well organised and be able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment with confidence to influence stakeholders and have a think outside of the box approach
- Must have strong up to date knowledge or all HR legislation
- You must be happy to be onsite with the client as there is no Hybrid or remote working for this role.
