Ashley Kate is partnering with a long-standing client of ours, with a national reach and is made up of many sites across the UK. Due to the implementation of a new HR System they are now looking for an experienced HR Contact Team manager to join the business and lead a team of Employee services Administrators.

This role will be suitable for a HR professional with prior extensive experience leading a large team and has worked in a busy environment HR Operations function, as well as delivering success for the team and wider group.

Responsibilities will include, managing and motivating a large team and ensuring you are there for support from an internal and external perspective for all customers via any channel of communication. As well as, implementing the strategy to continually develop the HR Contact Team and be the main contact for all HR duties when providing advice to employees.

HR Contact Team Manager - Day to day duties:

  • Conduct team meetings on a regular basis, as well as 121's to ensure effective communication and engagement across all members of the team
  • Develop appropriate content for HR business communications
  • Plan and manage work allocations to ensure day-to-day duties, peak times and any events are supported for the team equally and delivering on all aspects
  • Deal with escalated queries, oversee case management and be the expert HR professional for the team, as well as providing coaching in relation to policies and procedures
  • Ensure HRIS data is updated
  • Lead the team through development of the HR strategy and continue to deliver a high standard of work

About you:

  • You must have strong people management skills, and previous experience leading a large team of HR professionals
  • Prior experience working within a fast-paced environment
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of HRIS - Dayforce
  • Up to date, and confident with UK Employment Law and GDPR regulations
