Hybrid working is available but this role will require commute to sites across Brighton, Southampton and Croydon.
Our client is seeking a full-time, permanent HR manager from the hotel industry to join their team.
As a member of the group HR team, you will manage a small team of four, supporting five hotels. The focus of your role is to provide high-quality HR leadership, support, coaching and guidance for your region, as well as assist the Group HR team in delivering the HR strategy in all areas.
This exciting role has plenty of scope for development and progression, getting involved in projects and implementing your ideas to make real impact on the team.
The role
You will provide leadership in all aspects of employment law, which would include coaching line managers with investigations and any other formal meetings. In addition, you will advise management teams on all aspects of people management.
Employee wellness is at the core of what they do, making time for quality conversations, listening to employees, and guiding them appropriately.
Getting the right people is key to their success HR Manager who can offer coaching to hiring managers on recruitment activities, develop the hotels' succession plans.
As HR Manager, you will monitor and communicate all training within teams, ensuring all employees' personal development plans are in place. Additionally, you will identify the group's needs and oversee the induction process.
About you - ESSENTIAL experience
Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law legislation, sound HR practice and its application, including previous experience of advising on disciplinary/grievance matters.
Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to support all levels of the team, influence senior managers and build effective working relationships.
Ability to multi task and enjoy making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
To be able to coach and develop the management team in HR policy and processes.
Payroll experience is desirable.
