HR Partner | up to £55K | Office Based  | CIPD Qualified

My client is recruiting for a CIPD qualified HR Partner with strong ER exposure and payroll process experience to join them on a full time permanent basis near Covent Garden.

Please note this role is office based 4 days a week with some site visits across Zone 1

Exciting opportunity for a talented and personable People Operations Partner to join the People Team, to build, nurture and maintain strong working relationships, supporting their business teams (approximately 140 Operations colleagues and 40+ colleagues at Head Office).

You will partner Operations Managers, Supervisors and Maintenance Managers as well as their Department Heads (as and when required).

As an effective and proactive business partner you will be pragmatic and provide advice, guidance and support to all managers with regards to employee relations cases and provide commercial and timely solutions.

You will have the ability to influence and support people at all levels and across our teams, responsible for total case management and visiting the different teams on site.

Your strong attention to detail will be invaluable with the checking and co-ordination of the monthly payroll and liaising with the Finance team.

Experience and qualifications:


  • Level 5 CIPD
  • Previous and demonstrable experience in an HR Generalist / People Operations role.
  • 5+ years' generalist experience, working with UK legislation
  • Experienced and hands-on approach; previous experience working in a small/ medium business is desirable.
  • Comprehensive experience in dealing with complex and simultaneous employee relations cases and respective knowledge of employment law.
  • Strong knowledge with regards to diversity and inclusion.
  • Tech-savvy with a good understanding of HRIS and reporting functionality; creative software knowledge and experience beneficial
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel- including Microsoft teams)
