HR Advisor

Location: Bradford (Hybrid Working)

Salary: Up to £38,000 DOE

Contract: Permanent

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join a busy and supportive HR team based in Bradford. This is a hybrid, permanent opportunity offering up to £38,000 depending on experience.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high-quality HR service across the business, with a strong focus on Employee Relations and absence management. You will act as a trusted advisor to managers, providing practical, commercial and solutions-focused HR support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing end-to-end Employee Relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance matters
  • Advising and supporting managers through absence management processes.
  • Coaching and upskilling managers to build confidence and capability in handling people matters
  • Supporting investigations, hearings and appeals, ensuring best practice and legal compliance
  • Providing clear, consistent advice in line with company policy and current employment legislation
  • Assisting with policy updates and continuous improvement of HR processes
  • Supporting wider HR projects and initiatives as required.

About You

  • proven experience in an HR Advisor role
  • Strong ER experience, managing cases end to end with minimal supervision
  • Confident handling complex absence management cases
  • Experienced in coaching and supporting managers in a commercially focused environment
  • Solid knowledge of UK employment law
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • CIPD Level 5 (desirable but not essential)
