·1 x 12 month FTC.
·£30-32k.

The role will be purely home-based with occasional national travel when required.

As HR/ER Advisor, you will actively support the day to day operation by providing a high quality HR support service to line managers on a range of employment matters.

This role is key role to up-skilling managers, ensuring consistency and compliance in the handling and resolution of people-related issues and maximising staff engagement.

Key duties will include -

Provide first line, remote advice and support to managers and staff on a range of policy, legislation and employee relations matters.
Providing high quality advice, coaching and guidance on matters such as investigations, disciplinary, grievance, performance, capability and attendance management
Provide practical support with disciplinary and grievance investigations, assisting with the production of letters and formal documents, case management and arrangements for formal hearings. Ensure the correct procedures are adhered to and staff are treated fairly and consistently
Ensure accurate records are kept and stored correctly in relation to formal proceedings
Monitor and report on cases; pro actively identify and analyse emerging trends and agree appropriate actions
Provide accurate calculations relating to redundancy, medical terminations, settlement agreements etc.

Essential skills and experience -

Previous experience of managing high volume ER cases.
Up to date working knowledge of current employment legislation
Confident in providing high quality professional HR advice and guidance to managers
Effective coaching and mentoring skills, encouraging managers to take ownership and accountability for people-related matters
Strong customer focus, communicator and influencer, builds effective working relationships, trust and credibility with managers and internal HR colleagues
Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to a wide range of communication and learning styles and with people at all levels.
Strong organisational skills, high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Able to deal with a high volume of work in a busy environment
