Ashley Kate are excited to be partnering with a national organisation for their site based in Stevenage, in Recruiting a ER Advisor to join their manufacturing business. You will provide HR support to the Operations UK business, which is a unionised environment, working alongside a HR team based in the south east. This is a hybrid role with the expectation  to be site based 1-2 days per week.
 
This is a 12 month FTC with a salary of £45k-50k.
 
 
The role:
·You will provide specialist HR advice and guidance to individuals and business point for all HR queries within the manufacturing division
·Responding to a wide range of standard HR enquiries
·Co-ordinating key people management processes to ensure delivery of project outputs according to the project plan timescales
·Working with managers to identify opportunities for HR to add value and help define people strategies, in line with the business wider HR strategy
·Develop tailored resourcing strategies
·Coaching and upskilling, in particular focusing on management development
·Producing reports or analyses which may involve manipulating statistical data
·Employee Relations - Investigating problems, queries and issues, presenting conclusions, discussing recommendations and implementing actions, up to complex cases
·Supporting key people management activities e.g. performance assessment, annual salary review/bonus processes, promotions, resourcing, disciplinary's etc.
·Managing union relationships
 
 
To be considered you will be CIPD qualified or working towards. You will be a strong relationship builder, comfortable with ambiguity, have the ability to adapt and be resilient through periods of change. You will be strong in partnering senior stakeholders, leading in planning, change, ER, and employee engagement. We seek an innovative HR generalist, used to working within a fast paced, blue collar/manufacturing environment, with Unions experience an advantage.
