Ashley Kate are delighted to be supporting a well-established Law firm, based in London as they look to recruit for a full time HR Administrator.
 
This role will be a 6 month FTC wit potential to go permanent.
 
The salary for this role is up to £30k.
 
This role is ideal for a candidate looking to either start their career in HR or look for the next step in their career.
 
HR Administrator:
·General HR administration including soft and hard copy filing, scanning and archiving, helping with queries.
·Create offer paperwork and prepare and send out offers.
·Record attendance/absences, highlight/monitor issues/concerns, log (and chase) self-certificate forms and fit notes as necessary.
·Undertake the new joiner process (requesting references, new joiner forms, new joiner details/document updates, probationary/qualification for benefits).
·Support with updating information on the internal intranet.
·In conjunction with the HR Manager (Reward) manage Cascade, update Insite, salary spreadsheet, payroll and pension data. starters and leavers, new joiner, benefits and other documentation
·Forming and maintaining employee records.
·Updating databases internally, such as sick and maternity leave and prompting the team when actions need to be taken.
·Preparing and amending where necessary HR documents, i.e. employment contracts and recruitment guides etc.
·Acting as the first point of contact for employees on any HR related queries.
·Assisting with payroll by providing the department with relevant employee information, i.e. holiday and sick days taken.
·Helping with various arrangements internally, from travel to processing expenses.
·Continuously increasing understanding of the wider world of HR, sharing external perspectives and best practice with the business and HR colleagues.
·Support with data reporting.
·Ad hoc duties / projects etc.
 
About you:
·Well organised, uses initiative, prioritises appropriately, proactive, shows attention to detail and meets deadlines.
·Experience in Professional Services (advantageous)
·Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills (respectful, positive, articulate, professional and sympathetic)
·Delivers HR services with a "can do" and when necessary, "hands on" approach
·Shows commitment, passion, and enthusiasm
·Is a respectful, reliable, and supportive team player
·Reflects the firm's culture and represents the firm appropriately
