Ashley Kate are delighted to be supporting an outstanding multi academy trust in their search to add a strong HR Administrator to their existing HR department, based in Hackney, London.
This will be a FTC (up to two years) position with a possibility to go permanent.
The salary for this role will be up to £29.5k and be based on site.
HR Administrator - about this role
Purpose of the role:
The main focus of this role is to support the HR Department in updating, archiving and maintaining staff records to ensure that all personnel files contain accurate employment life-cycle documentation.
·Review all personnel files to ensure that mandatory recruitment, contractual and safeguarding data is recorded
·Archive documents in line with the Federation policy on records retention.
·File all HR records using the established resources and directories.
·Review staff data held on SIMS and update where required to ensure the system accurately reflects staffing across the Federation
·Update, delete and add service terms and pay information to SIMs for all staff across the Federation.
·Support the administration associated with the off-boarding of staff
·Support the administration required during the recruitment process
·Support the Department in producing annual Pay Statements for all staff ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.
·Support the Department in migrating all personal files and HR folders to Sharepoint
·Assist with the Federation policy review by formatting policies to ensure they conform with the agreed template
·To ensure that data relating to the School Workforce Census is accurately entered onto SIMS
Key experience -
·Strong administrative background
·excellent communication skills - written and verbal
·Experience of working in a busy office or HR environment
·excellent attention to detail
·Experience of working in an education or school setting would be advantageous
·have used SIMS (School Management Information System)
