Ashley Kate are excited to be working with our Construction client as they recruit a new ER Advisor to join their team. This is a brand new role to cover the North region of England. With a main office in Durham, the ER advisor will cover sites across the North West, Yorkshire and the North East, and can be based anywhere within this area with the expectation to travel regularly to sites within the region. The salary on offer is £35k - 40k plus generous car or car allowance.
 
The ER advisor will sit within a busy team of 6 across the UK. The role will be split across time at each site, and home working, offering lots of autonomy to manage your own diary and flexibility.
The department is busy and challenging, giving someone the opportunity to work within a fast paced environment!
 
The role:
·Advise/guide/coach management on a range of policies and process
·Manage a range of varied and complex ER cases
·Undertake investigations in relation to disciplinary/grievance, absence, capability, performance, right up to Tribunal in accordance with guidance set out in employment law
·Coach, Guide and upskill management tasking them through each case form start to finish
·Work closely with a range of senior stakeholders across multiple sites
·Analyse trends across ER, and report on HR and ER metrics
 
To be considered you will be highly experience in managing a range of employee relations, ideally within a multi-site environment where you are used to managing your own diary.  You will have a passion for employee relations, and enjoy investigating and finding the best solutions! You will be used to working with senior managers, offering advice and have a coaching approach to your communication. You will be CIPD qualified or working towards.
