Assistant HR Manager | London | Hybrid | Financial Services

Location: Primarily London-based, with support required at the Kent and Essex offices 2-3 times per month.

The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic HR team in a fast-paced financial services environment. As the Assistant HR Manager, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure HR objectives are effectively aligned with business priorities. You will be responsible for ensuring consistency in HR practices and application across the firm, while providing exceptional service across all aspects of HR management.

About You and essential experience:

  • You will bring at least 3 years of experience in a similar role (Senior HR Advisor or above) within a corporate environment in the UK, ideally within financial services or a related sector.

  • Demonstrable direct line management experience is essential, as you will be responsible for managing a Senior HR Advisor.

  • A strong and up-to-date understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • A customer-focused, proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in producing reports and documentation.

  • A professional, approachable manner, with excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality HR support.

Hybrid Working:
Please note that during your initial on-boarding period (first 6 weeks), you will be required to be in the office full-time (5 days per week) to support your induction and integration into the team. Thereafter, the role will operate on a hybrid basis, with 3 days per week in the office and 2 days working from home.
